Bio
holt is a Brisbane four-piece making dynamic indie alt-rock that moves between intimacy and impact. The band combines restrained vocals, guitar and piano with heavier full-band arrangements, using contrast as a central part of both the recordings and the live show.
The songs explore identity, expectation and the tension between the life you inherit and the one you choose. Rather than staying in one emotional register, holt leans into sharp shifts: quiet, spacious passages giving way to moments of weight and release.
